GHOSTWRITER'S NOTES
Dear friends,
It’s been a very long time since I wrote my latest blog. This one will be about my upcoming song collection called “Ghostwriter”…
Since I finished “Peaceful Storms” in May, 2016, there have been several new songs, which I post on my pages… Whether they were my collaborations with Pam Schwetz, Xakestar or my own songs, I’ve been asking myself a lot “What am I doing right now? What do I want from all of this?” Going as far as I could as a songwriter with “I’m Not Them”, I was really struggling with my songwriter’s blog. I wrote a different blog about it, so I better leave it out now and jump right to the moment when “Ghostwriter” stepped out on the stage.
“Ghostwriter”, in general, is a person who writes songs or speeches for other people and give them credit for it, leaving him unknown and unrecognized. A ghostwriter is, in fact, an invisible person who is always there, though nobody knows him. Sometimes I feel like that. I’ve never enjoyed being the focus of debates and conversations, being the centre of attention. Sometimes, I just like to listen to other people talking, and giving just a minimum input in conversations. In that meaning “Ghostwriter” is who I am and how I feel most of the time. Plus the title itself sounds interesting and though it’s only one word, it describes everything.
My “Ghostwriter” collection is still not finished yet, but I put the picture in the frame and I see some nice tunes in it. The track list might be:

Yes, you may not know some of the songs…. I’m working on them… The final tracklist might also vary, there may be a parallel song collection called “Ghostwriter’s Guitar Songs” (or something like that), ‘cos I also have a bunch of guitar demos and tracks, which I recorded over the last year (like “I Missed You”, “Live By The Sea”, “Maldives”, “I’m Not Them” demo…).
You know my ‘albums’ are not really albums, let’s say they are playlists on my pages, which I hope you will listen to. The titles I give them are the titles for the whole time I spend working on the songs from the lists, it’s like an era of my evolution. I hope you know what I mean.

So, now you’ve learned more about my ideas, about giving my songs a shape, giving my picture a frame… I hope you will enjoy my “Ghostwriter” collection. I would like to finish it by February 2018. Maybe March… We’ll see.
